PATIENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last updated: 28 August 2026

These terms explain the basis on which ARETA Clinic provides website, enquiry, booking, consultation and treatment services. Please read them before booking. They do not affect your statutory rights. Contact support@aretaclinic.co.uk with questions.

WEBSITE INFORMATION

Information on this website is general and is not a diagnosis, prescription or substitute for individual medical advice. Submitting a form, sending a message or booking an appointment does not create a clinician-patient relationship and is not a clinical consultation.

CONSULTATION AND SUITABILITY

An appropriate consultation is required before treatment. We may ask about your health, medicines, allergies, previous treatments, concerns and expectations. Suitability is individual. We may recommend delaying, changing or not providing a treatment where we consider that appropriate. There is no obligation to proceed.

CONSENT AND OUTCOMES

Before any treatment, appropriate information about the proposed option, material risks, possible benefits, alternatives, expected outcomes and aftercare will be discussed. You can ask questions and change your mind before treatment. Outcomes and experiences vary and cannot be guaranteed.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Please provide complete and accurate information that may be relevant to your care, tell us if anything changes, follow agreed preparation and aftercare advice, and contact us promptly if you have concerns. Our website and contact form are not emergency services; seek appropriate urgent or emergency medical help when needed.

BOOKINGS AND PRICES

A booking is confirmed only when you receive confirmation. Prices and any consultation fee, deposit or advance-payment terms shown during booking or in your confirmation apply to that booking. We will explain the price before a service is provided. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies provided by consumer law.

CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING AND ONLINE BOOKINGS

Please use the cancellation or rescheduling options in your booking confirmation or contact us as soon as possible. The current terms presented during booking and confirmation apply. Any charge must be fair and permitted by law. Where consumer law provides a right to cancel a service booked at a distance, that right applies. If you expressly ask for a service to begin during a cancellation period, a proportionate charge for services already provided may apply where the law permits.

PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

Payment methods and timing are shown during booking or explained before treatment. Any refund will be handled in line with the booking terms and applicable consumer law. Your statutory rights are not excluded.

PHOTOGRAPHS AND COMMUNICATIONS

Clinical photographs may be requested where relevant to consultation, records or care and will be handled as sensitive information. Separate permission will be sought before photographs are used for marketing or public materials. Marketing messages are optional and you can withdraw from them at any time.

AFTERCARE AND FOLLOW-UP

If treatment is provided, relevant aftercare and follow-up information will be explained. Please follow that guidance and use the contact details provided for non-emergency concerns.

COMPLAINTS AND FEEDBACK

We welcome feedback and take concerns seriously. Please email support@aretaclinic.co.uk with enough information for us to understand and review your concern. Our Complaints & Feedback page explains the process.

LIABILITY

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

LAW AND CHANGES

The applicable law of the part of the United Kingdom in which the service is supplied governs these terms. We may update these terms for future bookings. The version presented or linked when you book will apply unless a change is required by law.
